This page contains the ahnentafel (ancestor table) of all my direct line ancestors. For those of you who may not understand the concept of an ancestor table, it works this way. For every person listed on the chart, you can locate their father's listing by multiplying that person's number by 2 and their mother's listing by multiplying their number by 2 and adding 1. Since my father is number 2, his father is number 4 (2x2=4) and his mother is number 5 ((2x2)+1=5). My mother's father is number 6 (3x2=6) and my mother's mother is number 7 ((3x2)+1=7), and so on down the line.
Left Column Hyperlinks
This column is used to navigate within this page. All clicks on hyperlinks on this column will result in jumping back and forth on this page only.
Click on the link for Parents to jump to that persons parents and click on the Child link to jump to that persons child.
If the Parents link is not active, that means I do not currently know who the parents were. The parents link is to the father. The mother (if known) is listed below the father.
Middle Column Hyperlinks
All hyperlinks in this column will open in a new window. Use the right click option of the mouse to save any image to your computer.
Hyperlinks on the Surame will be to a Family Group Sheet (FGS) of the individual's entire immediate family (father, mother, children). Most of the time, this will only be for the father, however, there may have been multiple marriages of either spouse.
Hyperlinks on the Given Name will be to photographs of the individual. Family group photos will generally be listed with the father.
Hyperlinks on the born/married/died headers will be to printed accounts of the events (i.e. newspaper accounts, death cards, obituary images, etc).
The burial header is currently linked to the Find-A-Grave memorial that I have created for each person. If I have the obituary, it should be on that site.
Hyperlinks on the birth/marriage/death dates will be to a copy of the associated official record/document.
The hyperlink on the burial location (usually the cemetery name) will be to photos of grave stones.
Images of documents for individuals that are not on this Ahnentafel (such
as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc.) can be found HERE.
Right Column Hyperlinks
All hyperlinks in this column will open in a new window. Use the right click option of the mouse to save any image to your computer.
This column will contain hyperlinks to other images that I have accumluated about this individual. This column currently contains Census Records (Federal and State), Ship's Passenger Lists, Directories, and World War 1 Draft Registrations. For the census records and ship's passenger lists, I will be including all the years that the individual SHOULD be recorded. If the image has not been found yet, there will be no hyperlink attached to the date.
I am always interested in corresponding with those who are researching along the same lines as I am. Either of the email addresses listed below should reach me.
